How do we know if discovery experiences are improving for students and researchers? This session introduces EBSCO’s growing effort to measure and understand the evolving “state of the user” across our products. We’ll share how the UX Research team uses benchmarking studies, usability metrics, and behavioral data to capture where users succeed, where they struggle, and how those experiences vary across different settings. Instead of relying on one type of metric, we’re connecting data and insights from multiple sources to build a fuller picture of user success. Attendees will get a behind-the-scenes look at how these findings are starting to shape design decisions and measurement practices, with the broader goal of turning data into meaningful improvements across the EBSCO ecosystem.
